Amazon Warehouse
“We always strive to develop a project plan that meets the needs and timeframe of our customers.”
CEI supported construction at an Amazon warehouse by providing crane services for two critical phases of the project, each with unique logistical demands. The first contractor required assistance lifting 4’ x 8’ insulation sheets onto the roof of the facility. CEI deployed a 40-ton boom truck and a 30-ton rough-terrain crane, operated by an experienced crew, to complete the lifts efficiently. While the task itself was straightforward, it demonstrated CEI’s ability to execute large-scale institutional work with precision and minimal disruption to the overall build.
A second contractor working on a mile-long soundwall relied on CEI for consistent concrete placement throughout construction. For this phase, CEI supplied a 60-ton rough-terrain crane and a certified operator to safely lift and position concrete buckets along the site. In both scopes of work, reach was the primary challenge. The cranes selected allowed crews to work around existing structures and place materials where other equipment could not, keeping the project on schedule.
Safety and coordination were central to execution. CEI provided communication equipment, including headsets and walkie-talkies, and supplied qualified signal persons when visibility was limited. As schedules shifted, CEI’s office and field teams remained flexible—ensuring the right equipment was available when needed and, when necessary, leaving cranes onsite to avoid delays. With more than five decades of experience, CEI continues to be a reliable partner for complex construction projects that demand planning, responsiveness, and dependable execution.
